Frontend Delivery Engineer
Own frontend delivery end to end across Next.js, Shopify, and WordPress migrations — leading client work, QA, and launches with real autonomy on a fast-moving remote team.
Location: Remote (EST hours)
Compensation: $25 to $32 per hour (USD)
Benefits: 15 days PTO, Christmas Day and New Year's Day paid off
LinkGraph is the agency and services side of Search Atlas. We work with clients directly, hands-on, to implement and scale the strategies our platform is built for. Same intensity. Same standards. Backed by the same AI-native infrastructure.
We're looking for someone who will own client delivery end to end, from the intake call to the final ship. If you want real ownership, move fast, and raise the bar every week, keep reading. If your QA strategy is "the client will tell us if something's broken," this role will be a hard adjustment.
What you'll own
- Client delivery across 5 to 10 core clients. Intake, scope, build, test, ship. No handoffs, no gaps.
- Client calls. You take the intake, assess the request, and own what goes in the backlog and when.
- Frontend development across Next.js and Shopify. You build it, you test it, you own the quality.
- QA. You write the test plans. You run them. You catch issues before clients do. There is no separate QA team to catch what you miss.
- The WordPress migration. We're moving clients off WP onto Next.js and Shopify. You'll drive this without dropping active client work.
You'll thrive here if...
- You can take a messy client call and walk out with a clear scope of work.
- You'd rather own the whole outcome yourself than hand off a piece and hope it lands.
- You don't wait to be told what to do. You see the gap and you move.
- Deadlines don't rattle you. Ambiguity doesn't either.
- You're an AI power user, not someone who's "open to learning it someday."
- You communicate clearly, especially when things are unclear.
- You have opinions and you're not afraid to bring them.
- You can laugh at a chaotic week on Friday and mean it.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years hands-on frontend development, with 2+ years owning project outcomes
- Next.js: component architecture, SSR, API routes, deployments
- Shopify: Liquid, custom apps, storefront customization
- WordPress custom development (themes, plugins, hooks, filters) for migration work
- Headless CMS workflows and decoupled content architecture
- QA: automated and manual. You write test plans and run them yourself.
- AI tools: Claude, Codex, Kimi. Used daily, not mentioned in passing.
- ClickUp: fluent in your workflow for tracking and reporting
- Reliable EST overlap, fully remote, contract role
What working here actually looks like
High expectations. Real ownership. Things change fast and we don't apologize for it. You'll work with smart people who push you, a product that keeps getting better, and a team that's genuinely building something new.
We'll probably give you more to own than you expected. That's on purpose.
We use AI every day, across every function. That's just how we work.
