Lead Brand and Product Designer
*Full-time contractor | Fully remote, Latin America | Daily overlap with EST, CST, or PST*
We're the all-in-one agentic marketing platform. AI-native from day one. We're not joining a category, we're defining it.
We're looking for someone to own how Search Atlas looks and feels, from the brand people see first to the product they use every day. If you want real ownership, move fast, and raise the bar every week, keep reading. If AI tools feel optional to you, this role will be a hard adjustment.
Why this role is different
Most design jobs still look the way they did five years ago. Mock it up in Figma, hand it to an engineer, wait. That's not how we work.
We work agentically. Our designers are experts in Figma and Figma AI, and they use Claude, Claude Code, and Claude Design to turn ideas into working prototypes. Tools like Higgsfield handle animation and image generation. AI runs through the whole workflow, so one person covers ground that used to take a team. If you already design this way, you'll feel at home. If you've only read about it, this isn't the role for you.
What you'll own
The Search Atlas visual identity across everything customers see. Paid media creatives for Meta, social content, landing pages, sales assets, marketing assets.
Product feature design from first sketch to final handoff. Wireframes, user flows, high fidelity mockups, working prototypes.
Functional, near production demos built with Figma AI, Claude, Claude Code, and Claude Design. Every day, not occasionally.
Prototypes engineers can build from without guesswork. You read the codebase and hand over something real.
Our design system, so the product stays consistent as it scales. You close the gaps before they turn into debt.
Finding the new AI design and dev tools worth using, and bringing them into how the whole team works.
You'll thrive here if...
You notice the four pixels that are off, and you can say why the layout works.
You'd rather ship a working prototype than a pretty screenshot.
You don't wait to be told what to do. You see the gap and you move.
Deadlines don't rattle you. Ambiguity doesn't either.
You're an AI power user, not someone who's "open to learning it someday."
You communicate clearly, especially when things are unclear.
You have opinions and you're not afraid to bring them.
You can laugh at a chaotic week on Friday and mean it.
What we're looking for
Exceptional design taste and sensibility. This is the bar we won't move on.
Several years designing in a product or agency setting. SaaS ideally.
Expert level in Figma and Figma AI.
Expert level in Claude, Claude Code, and Claude Design. This is the core of the job, not a bonus line.
Fluent with AI animation and image tools like Higgsfield. Motion work in After Effects too.
A very strong portfolio showing brand craft and product thinking. Taste, ingenuity, problem solving, not just clean screens.
Comfortable getting into the codebase to prototype and build. You don't have to be an engineer, but agentic code shouldn't scare you.
Real product sense. You understand users, flows, and why a design decision helps or hurts.
A clear, direct communicator in professional English. This one is not optional.
Nice to have
Performance marketing and creative testing experience.
Familiarity with analytics tools like Mixpanel or Hotjar.
What working here actually looks like
High expectations. Real ownership. Things change fast and we don't apologize for it. You'll work with smart people who push you, a product that keeps getting better, and a team that's genuinely building something new.
We'll probably give you more to own than you expected. That's on purpose.
We use AI every day, across every function. That's just how we work.
How hiring works
Screening call with our recruitment team.
A short assessment to show us how you work.
Interview with the hiring manager.
Final interview with leadership.
Offer.
